Where faith meets action

I’m Tosha Bridges, a wife, homeschooling mama, writer, and the founder of The Bridges Co. I was born and raised in Suches, Georgia, in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia, where family, faith, hard work, and taking care of your neighbors aren’t just things people talk about. They’re a way of life.

Those small-town Southern roots are a big part of who I am, and they’ll always be a part of what I create.

Above everything else, I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. My faith isn’t something I reserve for Sunday mornings. It’s the foundation of how I try to live, love, raise my children, and walk through both the beautiful and difficult seasons of life.

And believe me, I’ve experienced both.

Life has taken me through some valleys I never imagined walking. I’ve faced serious health challenges, heartbreaking loss, and moments when simply making it through another day felt like an accomplishment.

In January 2024, our family experienced the unimaginable when we lost my son, Colton, just days after his sixteenth birthday. Losing a child changes everything. There are no words big enough to explain that kind of heartbreak.

But through the struggles, the questions, and the moments when I couldn’t see what was ahead, God never stopped being faithful.

Those experiences didn’t give me all the answers. They taught me something far more important: faith isn’t just about what we say we believe. It’s about what we do with that faith when life gets hard.

That’s where Bridging the Gap — Where Faith Meets Action began.

God has called me to share what He’s taught me—not because I have everything figured out, but because I know firsthand what it means to need His strength when your own simply isn’t enough.

And somewhere along the way, that calling grew into something bigger.

The Heart Behind The Bridges Co.

I founded The Bridges Co. with one simple mission: Helping You Bridge the Gap.

What began with faith-centered writing has grown into a vision for creating practical, meaningful resources that encourage, equip, and inspire people in everyday life.

From devotionals and journals to children’s books, Southern family cookbooks, homeschooling resources, planners, and small-business tools, each collection has a purpose.

Some of what we create will help strengthen your faith. Some will help your children learn. Some might make running your business a little easier, preserve a cherished family recipe, or simply bring a smile to your face.

Not every product has to be a devotional to be created with purpose.

The Bridges Co. is built on faith, family, creativity, and the belief that even the simplest things can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not writing or working on a new project, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, Brett, and our children.

We homeschool, enjoy the mountains, and love the simple things that make a house feel like home. Some of my happiest moments are spent with my family, whether we’re fishing along a mountain creek, laughing around the kitchen table, or just enjoying being together.

I’m country through and through, a little stubborn when something matters to me, and someone who believes that a person’s word, kindness, and willingness to help others still mean something.

I’ve learned that life is precious, tomorrow isn’t promised, and sometimes the smallest acts of faith and love leave the biggest footprints.

I’m not building The Bridges Co. simply to sell products.

I’m building something with purpose. Something my family can be proud of. Something that honors God and, hopefully, helps somebody else along the way.
